Sam Smith<\/strong> utilizou suas redes sociais para revelar aos seus f\u00e3s que se identifica ao g\u00eanero n\u00e3o-bin\u00e1rio. Desta forma, o cantor afirmou que n\u00e3o se sente pertencente a um g\u00eanero exclusivo, e que as pessoas deveriam n\u00e3o utilizar mais os pronomes “ele”<\/em> ou “ela”<\/em> para que as pessoas que se identificam com o g\u00eanero n\u00e3o-bin\u00e1rio possam se sentir bem representadas.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m da declara\u00e7\u00e3o, o cantor compartilhou um texto sobre a sua decis\u00e3o e o quanto isso poder\u00e1 ajudar a comunidade n\u00e3o bin\u00e1ria. Confira:<\/p>\n

“Hoje \u00e9 um bom dia, ent\u00e3o aqui vai. Eu decidi que estou trocando meus pronomes pessoais por \u2018THEY e THEM\u2019 [eles (as) e deles (as), em tradu\u00e7\u00e3o para o portugu\u00eas]\u00a0ap\u00f3s uma vida inteira em guerra com meu g\u00eanero. Decidi me abra\u00e7ar por quem sou, por dentro e por fora. Estou ansioso e me sinto privilegiado por estar cercado de pessoas que me d\u00e3o suporte nesta decis\u00e3o, mas eu tenho estado bastante nervoso sobre este an\u00fancio porque eu me importo muito com o que as pessoas pensam. Mas foda-se.! Eu entendo que v\u00e3o existir muitos erros e trocas de g\u00eanero, mas tudo o que pe\u00e7o por favor, por favor, \u00e9 que tentem. Eu espero que voc\u00eas possam me ver da mesma forma com que me vejo agora. Obrigado!<\/em><\/p>\n

Observa\u00e7\u00e3o: Ainda n\u00e3o estou em um momento para falar eloquentemente sobre o que significa ser n\u00e3o-bin\u00e1rio, mas mal posso esperar pelo dia em que esteja. Ent\u00e3o, por enquanto, eu s\u00f3 quero ser vis\u00edvel e aberto. Today is a good day so here goes. I\u2019ve decided I am changing my pronouns to THEY\/THEM \u2764 after a lifetime of being at war with my gender I\u2019ve decided to embrace myself for who I am, inside and out. I\u2019m so excited and privileged to be surrounded by people that support me in this decision but I\u2019ve been very nervous about announcing this because I care too much about what people think but fuck it! I understand there will be many mistakes and mis gendering but all I ask is you please please try. I hope you can see me like I see myself now. Thank you. P.s. I am at no stage just yet to eloquently speak at length about what it means to be non binary but I can\u2019t wait for the day that I am. So for now I just want to be VISIBLE and open. If you have questions and are wondering what this all means I\u2019ll try my best to explain but I have also tagged below the human beings who are fighting the good fight everyday.
